by Big Bend Landscaping

Do you look with envy at your neighbor’s yard as you see the sprinkler system turn on in the evening, water the lawn then turn off? Or do you look at your own sprinkler system that does not turn on or sprays everywhere but the grass and flower beds, has broken sprinkler heads and seems to use an endless supply of water? If any of these situations are accurate, you need the experts that can rectify these problems. You need Big Bend Landscaping.

Sunshine is good and serves multiple purposes. But after long periods of sun and no rain, it tends to play havoc on lawns, flowers and bushes and plants. Lack of water turns the grass brown and splotchy, and it does lose some of its charm and attraction. Water can solve the problem, and Big Bend Landscaping has an easy solution. Lawn irrigation with a properly installed lawn sprinkler system. We can install a zone irrigation system that is going to be effective and cover the whole lawn area and flower beds as needed.

We install or repair the following irrigation systems:

  • Regular Sprinkler systems, underground water pipes with sprinkler heads that pop up above the surface of the ground, spread the water in designated areas and return to a below surface position when watering is complete.
  • Specific area systems, byselecting particular portions of the yard to be watered. Grass requires different amounts of water than flower beds, shrubs, and trees. By setting up watering zones, the proper amount of water is dispensed and at the appropriate times. You also don’t necessarily want to be watering patios or walkways when that is not required or desired.
  • Drip Irrigation systems, utilizing drip hoses that are installed in plant and flower bed areas. These hoses deliver water directly to the root area of the plants. Areas that a strong spray is not desired as it may damage the pants and flowers.
  • Custom designed systems that are specially designed to meet unique watering situations and out of the ordinary conditions.

The benefits of an irrigation system are:

  • Eliminates the need for watering areas with a garden hose.
  • Time savers.
  • Timers allow for water at specific times and specific locations.
  • Preserves nutrients in the soil.
  • Conserves water and expenses.

Big Bend Landscaping has the qualified staff, specialized equipment, and expertise to install any sized irrigation system and repair existing ones.
